Shipping policy

We offer product fulfillment nationwide usually via USPS shipping as long as the weather along the entire route from us to you is under 80 degrees (generally October - June). We also offer fulfillment via local pickup and local delivery near Somerville, MA (see below for more details).

Regular products will be fulfilled as soon as available, Passover items will be fulfilled per the timeline listed here.

Shipping

Right now, we're charging a flat rate of $10 for shipping within New England, $15 for shipping to the rest of the lower 48 states, and $20 USD to the rest of the US. As soon as your order is ready, we'll ship via USPS. Local pickup is always free! We also offer expedited shipping. These rates are just an estimate and may require additional payment depending on timing & cost.

Be in touch if you have specific time constraints to achieve, or if you'd like to ship beyond the US.

Timing & Summer Hiatus

We are a small operation and aim to fulfill a la carte orders within 3 business days of your order, but understand that orders may take longer to fulfill. Be in touch if you have additional questions. See the 4Questions page for more details regarding limited monthly and holiday-related drops.

Unfortunately, the logistics of producing & shipping chocolate during the summer is too complex for our little operation at this time. Wild Child Chocolate goes into hiatus in early June until mid-September, but the flavor experiments don’t stop. We will post this prominently on the home page, and will refund any orders placed accidentally. Chocolate will still be available at some of our stockists, please support them!

Local Pickup

We love our local people, so we are proud to offer free local pickup!

Subscription orders were previously available at our friends at Cleenland. Currently, they will be available for pickup from our factory at 260 Elm Street, Somerville (Davis Square Plaza), on or about the 15th of the month October-June.

A la carte orders will be available by appointment at 260 Elm Street, Somerville (Davis Square Plaza) or by appointment at a private address near the Whole Foods on Beacon Street in Somerville (Inman Square).

As soon as your order is ready, we'll be in touch via email to coordinate your pick-up.

Local Delivery

We love our local people, and know that sometimes you just need your chocolate delivered. Our delivery fees are below.

The fees are based on distance from Davis Square:

0-2.5 miles = $5 delivery fee; free for orders over $50

2.5-5 miles = $10 delivery fee; free for orders over $100

5-15 miles = $20 delivery fee; free for orders over $150
